HiSET (GED) Preparation Classes
Posted by Career Transitions on July 15, 2015
Career Transitions offers a program designed to prepare Belgrade students for their High School Equivalency Test. Students can practice through taking Basic Pretests (TABE) and study packets for the HiSET (GED) High School Equivalency test. The study is customized to fit individual needs. Following HiSET preparation, students can register on-line to take their HiSET test, as either a paper or a computer version.
The actual HiSET classes are small, usually one or two students at one time. Classes are taught by the Computer Literacy Coordinator, Valerie Otto who has 25 years of teaching experience. Otto earned a Masters in Curriculum Development from Montana State University.
Students are welcome to begin the test preparation process by taking the TABE “pretest” any time Monday to Friday from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm at Career Transitions.
