About Us

Career Transitions has a long history of developing, managing, and administering programs for those with barriers to employment.

Career Transitions has successfully provided job training, career counseling, and case management services to single parents, low income families, women interested in non-traditional occupations, single pregnant women, displaced homemakers, those with disabilities, veterans, and clients who are disadvantaged economically and academically.

Participants in our programs become job ready and self-sufficient through career counseling, guidance, education, training, mentoring, and employment.

Career Transitions is the contractor for Montana Pathways – Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) for the Montana Department of Health and Human Services for Gallatin and Madison Counties in Montana. We use the Family Bridge Model in an approach that is specific to the individual, that leverages individual strengths and desires, that allows flexibility, and addresses unique barriers with employability plans.

Career Transitions provides one-on-one career coaching. We help people become self-sufficient, as we provide computer access for online career services and also assist with career exploration personally by appointment.

Career Transition’s community education program offers job readiness for youth and adults through SNAP Employment and Training (SNAP E&T), HiSET (high school equivalency) classes, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training, Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) training, and CPR/First Aid training. We offer private spaces where customers or clients can use phone systems to communicate with employers and free access to computers, printers, scanner, and fax to communicate with potential employers.

The Gallatin Valley Farmers’ Market is a program of Career Transitions. The purpose is to provide an opportunity and location for local vendors of homemade food, handmade crafts and locally grown produce to market, display and sell their goods to promote economic well-being and support the development of home-based businesses.  The market is held every Saturday during the summer months at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds.
